Preparation of CD3 Antibody-Conjugated, Graphene Oxide Coated Iron Nitride Magnetic Beads and Its Preliminary Application in T Cell Separation

Immunomagnetic beads (IMBs) for cell sorting are universally used in medical and biological fields. At present, the IMBs on market ferrite coated with a silicon shell. Based new type of magnetic material, graphene iron nitride particle (G@FeN-MP), which we previously reported, prepared novel IMB, oxide immune bead (GO@FeN-IMBs), explored its feasibility sorting. First, surface G@FeN-MP was oxidized to produce oxygen-containing groups as carboxyl, etc. by optimized Hummers’ method, followed homogenization procedure make particles uniform size dispersive. The carboxy generated were then condensed coupled anti-CD3 antibodies carbodiimide method an anti-CD3-GO@FeN-IMB after coupling efficacy proved bovine serum albumin (BSA) labeled antibodies. Finally, anti-CD3-GO@FeN-IMBs incubated mixture containing human T cells. With aid stand, cells successfully isolated from mixture. turned out be intact could proliferate activation IMBs. results show that can modified IMB preparation, potentially separate
